Club Campaigns

Club owners can create campaigns to reach locals browsing their town on Loclie. Campaigns are time-limited announcements that appear in users' feeds. Campaign types include events, promotions, announcements, and offers.

Quick access: Click "Campaigns" from your club dashboard to view and create campaigns.

For full details, see Club Promotions.

Team Access / Delegates

Club owners can invite other people to help manage their club by adding delegates.

Adding a Delegate

  1. Go to your club's management page on the Manage portal
  2. Find the Team Access or Delegates section
  3. Enter the delegate's email address
  4. They will receive access to help manage the club

Delegate Permissions

Delegates can:

  • Edit club details and images
  • Create and manage campaigns
  • View club analytics

Announcements

Club owners can post announcements that appear on the club's card in listings.

  1. Go to your club's management page
  2. Find the Announcement section
  3. Enter a short announcement message
  4. The announcement will appear on your club's card for users browsing

Invite Codes

Invite codes let you share a link that allows people to join your club instantly without waiting for approval. This is especially useful for clubs promoting membership at events or churches distributing links via bulletins.

Creating an Invite Code

  1. Go to your club's management page
  2. Find the Invite Codes section
  3. Click "Generate Invite Code"
  4. Configure the code:
    • Role on Join - Choose whether new members join as "Member" or "Staff" (useful for churches adding leaders)
    • Max Uses (optional) - Limit how many times the code can be used
    • Expiry Date (optional) - Set when the code stops working

Sharing the Code

Each invite code generates a shareable URL in the format: app.loclie.com.au/join/{CODE}

Share this link via email, newsletter, social media, or print it on flyers.

Managing Codes

  • View active codes with their usage count
  • Deactivate codes that are no longer needed
  • Create multiple codes for different purposes (e.g., one for members, one for staff)

Custom Button

Add a custom call-to-action button that appears on your club's public page.

  1. Go to your club's management page
  2. Find the Custom Button section
  3. Enter a button label (e.g., "Book a Function", "View Menu", "Join Online")
  4. Enter the URL the button should link to
  5. Save your changes

The button appears prominently on your club's listing, directing visitors to your most important action.

Features & Attributes

Your club's attributes help visitors know what to expect and improve search visibility. Edit these from your club's management page under the Features & Attributes section.

Food & Drink - Serves food, BYO alcohol, Licensed venue, Takeaway available

Entertainment & Activities - Live entertainment, Gaming/pokies, Sports facilities, Free entry

Family & Accessibility - Kid-friendly, Pet-friendly, Wheelchair accessible

Facilities & Logistics - Accommodation, Outdoor area, Takes bookings, WiFi available, Has parking

Why Attributes Matter

These attributes feed directly into Loclie's AI search. When someone asks "family-friendly clubs with food" in the Ask Bar, clubs with those attributes marked will surface in results.

Experiences

Clubs can create experiences to showcase distinct activities at their venue. For example, an RSL might have a bistro, a gaming lounge, and a function venue as separate experiences.

Adding an Experience

  1. Go to your club's management page
  2. Click "Experiences"
  3. Click "Add Experience"
  4. Fill in the experience details (name, description, duration, pricing, attributes)

Experiences appear in search results independently, helping visitors discover specific activities at your club.

Linking Events

Club-Event Association

Club owners can link events to their club. This creates a two-way connection -- the event card shows the club name, and the club page displays upcoming linked events.

  1. Go to Events on the Manage portal
  2. Create a new event or edit an existing event
  3. Look for the Club Association section in the event form
  4. Select your club from the dropdown
  5. Save or publish the event

What Happens When an Event is Linked

  • Event cards display a "by [Club Name]" label with a link to your club page
  • Your club page shows an "Upcoming Events" section listing all linked events
  • Users browsing your club can discover your events, and users viewing your events can discover your club

Unlinking an Event

To remove the association, edit the event and change the club selection to "None (independent event)".
