For Business Owners
Managing Experiences
Create and manage distinct experiences and activities within your Loclie business.
Time to complete: 10 minutes
What Are Experiences?
Experiences are distinct activities or services within your business that deserve their own listing. They appear separately in search results and help customers discover the full range of what you offer.
Examples:
- A pub with a bistro, live music venue, and function room
- A farm offering farm tours, a farm shop, and seasonal fruit picking
- A resort with a restaurant, day spa, and golf course
- A caravan park with mini golf, a swimming pool, and kayak hire
When to Add an Experience
If your business has activities or services distinct enough that someone might search for them independently, they should be an experience. Your main business listing covers your primary identity.

Best Practices
DO:
- Be specific with names and descriptions for each experience
- Set accurate durations to help visitors plan their time
- Upload quality images that showcase the experience
- Mark attributes to improve searchability (e.g., kid-friendly, outdoor, accessible)
DON'T:
- Duplicate your main business as an experience
- Leave descriptions vague ("Fun for all!") instead describe what visitors will do
- Forget seasonal dates if the experience is only available part of the year
