Overview
Business Analytics helps you understand how your Loclie listing is performing. Track views, clicks, unique visitors, and conversion rates over time, and export your data for further analysis.
Accessing Analytics
From Business Dashboard
- Go to your Business Dashboard on the Manage portal
- Click "Analytics" in the Quick Actions
- The analytics page opens with your performance data
Time Period Selector
At the top of the analytics page, choose a time period to view:

| All Time | All historical data |
Switching time periods updates all metrics and comparisons on the page.
Key Metrics
The analytics page displays four key metrics in a grid:
Views
- Total number of times your listing was viewed during the selected period
- Shows percentage change compared to the previous equivalent period
- Positive change shown in green, negative in red
Clicks
- Total clicks on your phone number, website link, and booking link combined
- Shows percentage change compared to the previous period
- Measures how many people took action after viewing your listing
Unique Visitors
- Number of distinct visitors who viewed your listing
- Helps you understand your actual reach versus repeat visits
Conversion Rate
- Click-through rate: the percentage of views that resulted in a click
- Calculated as (total clicks / total views) x 100
- A higher rate means your listing is effective at driving engagement
Engagement Breakdown
Below the key metrics, an Engagement Breakdown section breaks down your clicks by type:

| Email Clicks | How many people clicked your email address |
| QR Scans | How many people scanned your business QR code |
Each type shows a count and a visual progress bar relative to the most popular click type. Only types with activity are displayed.
How People Find You
A prominent How People Find You section shows a source breakdown with visual progress bars, indicating where your views come from. Sources include:
- Detail Page - Direct visits to your business detail page
- Business Listing - Views from business listing pages
- Search Results - Views from search results
- Ask Bar - Views originating from AI-powered Ask Bar queries
- Map View - Views from the map interface
- QR Code - Views from scanning your business QR code
- Category Browse - Views from category browsing
- Town Page - Views from town pages
- Event Page - Views from linked event pages
- Campaign - Views from your campaign alerts
Performance Insights
The analytics page includes a Performance Insights section with summary observations about your listing performance, including:
- Your top discovery source (where most people find you)
- Views trend with percentage change compared to the previous period
- Conversion rate commentary
- Ask Bar appearance count (how often your business appeared in AI search results)
Exporting Your Data
You can download your analytics data as a CSV file:
- Click "Export Analytics Report" at the bottom of the analytics page
- A CSV file is generated and downloaded automatically
What the Export Includes
The CSV report contains:
- Report metadata - Business name, report date, time period
- Key metrics - Profile views, total clicks, unique visitors, conversion rate, views change, clicks change
- Click breakdown - Phone clicks, website clicks, booking clicks, directions, map views, menu views, social media, email clicks, QR scans
- View Sources - Breakdown of where your views originated (detail page, search results, Ask Bar, map, QR code, etc.)
- Daily statistics - Day-by-day view counts for the selected period
The file is named using your business name and the current date (e.g., my-business-analytics-2026-01-31.csv).
Dashboard Quick Stats
On the main Business Dashboard overview, you can also see summary stats without going to the full analytics page:
- Views - Listing views for the last 30 days
- Clicks - Total phone, website, and booking clicks
- Campaigns - Total campaigns with active and scheduled count
- Applications - Total job applications with new (unviewed) count
Using Analytics Effectively
Track Your Performance
- Check analytics regularly (weekly or monthly)
- Note changes after updating your listing or running campaigns
- Compare different time periods to spot trends
Make Improvements
If views are low:
- Update your listing with current information
- Upload a high-quality business image
- Create a campaign alert to boost visibility
- Complete all profile fields
If clicks are low relative to views:
- Ensure your phone number and website are correct
- Add a booking URL if you accept bookings
- Improve your description and tag line
- Make sure your opening hours are accurate

- Keep listing updated - Current hours, fresh image, accurate contact info
- Be active - Post jobs when hiring, create campaigns, keep your listing current
- Complete your profile - Fill all fields including tag line, description, categories, and contact details
- Monitor trends - Use the time period selector to compare periods and identify patterns
DON'T:
- Set and forget - Check in regularly and update as needed
- Ignore the data - Use trends to adjust your strategy
- Leave old information - Outdated contact details or hours reduce trust

No, views are anonymous. You see counts and trends, not individual users.
