Churches
Churches can register on Loclie as a type of club with the "Church" organisation type. This gives them access to all club features (venue page, campaigns, events) plus additional tools designed for their communities, including invite codes and subscriber-only campaigns.
Invite Codes
Clubs and churches can generate shareable invite codes that make it easy for people to join.
How Invite Codes Work
- A club owner or staff member generates an invite code from the club dashboard on the Manage portal
- The code creates a shareable link in the format:
app.loclie.com.au/join/ABC123 - Share the link via email, messaging apps, social media, printed flyers, or newsletters
- When someone opens the link, they are taken directly to the club and can join with one tap
Use cases:
- Churches sharing a code in their weekly bulletin
- Sporting clubs including the link on registration forms
- Community clubs promoting membership at events
Subscriber-Only Campaigns
Churches and other clubs can create subscriber-only campaigns that are visible only to their members and followers.
How It Works
- When creating a campaign on the Manage portal, the club owner can mark it as subscriber-only
- Only people who have joined the club (as a member) or followed it (via the bell icon) will see the campaign
- Subscriber-only campaigns appear in the "From Your Follows" section of the What's On popup
- They do not appear in the general town feed for non-members
Examples:
- A church announcing an internal community event
- A club posting member-only offers or updates
- A sporting club sharing a fixture schedule with members
