View and respond to customer reviews on your Loclie business listing.

Overview

When customers leave reviews for your business on Loclie, you can view them, respond publicly, and flag inappropriate content for admin review. All review management is done through the Manage portal at manage.loclie.com.au.


Accessing Reviews

  1. Sign in to the Manage portal at manage.loclie.com.au
  2. Go to your Business Dashboard
  3. Click "Reviews" in the Quick Actions section
  4. Or go directly to manage.loclie.com.au/business-dashboard/reviews

Viewing Reviews

Each review displays:

  • Star rating (1-5 stars)
  • Reviewer name (or "Anonymous" if not provided)
  • Review title and comment
  • Date the review was posted
  • Helpful count showing how many people found the review useful

Reviews appear in a scrollable list, most recent first.


Responding to Reviews

You can respond publicly to any review that you haven't already responded to.

How to Respond

  1. Find the review you want to respond to
  2. Click "Respond to review"
  3. Write your response in the text area
  4. Click "Respond" to submit

Your Response

  • Your response appears publicly beneath the review with a "Your response" label
  • The date of your response is shown
  • You can respond once per review

Tips for Responding

Keep responses professional and constructive. Thank customers for positive feedback, and address concerns in negative reviews with empathy and a willingness to improve.


Flagging Reviews

If a review contains inappropriate content, spam, or is factually misleading, you can flag it for admin review.

How to Flag

  1. Find the review you want to flag
  2. Click "Flag for admin"
  3. Optionally provide a reason for flagging
  4. The review will be sent to the admin moderation queue

What Happens After Flagging

  • The review remains visible while under review
  • A "Flagged" badge appears on the review so you know it's been reported
  • Admin staff will review and take action if appropriate

Review Stats on Your Listing

Your public business listing shows:

  • Average star rating (e.g., 4.2)
  • Total review count (e.g., 7 reviews)
  • A star icon and rating badge on your business card in search results

These update automatically as new reviews are posted.


Best Practices

DO:

  • Respond promptly to both positive and negative reviews
  • Be professional and thank reviewers for their feedback
  • Address concerns raised in negative reviews with empathy
  • Flag genuinely inappropriate content rather than reviews you simply disagree with

DON'T:

  • Argue with reviewers in your responses
  • Flag reviews just because the rating is low
  • Ignore reviews as they build trust with potential customers

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I delete a review?

No. Business owners cannot delete reviews. If a review is inappropriate, flag it for admin review using the "Flag for admin" button.


Can I edit my response after submitting?

Responses are final once submitted. Take a moment to review your response before clicking "Respond."


Who can leave reviews?

Any Loclie user can leave a review on businesses, events, amenities, attractions, clubs, and groups.
