Manage all your events from the Loclie Event Dashboard.

Overview
The Event Dashboard is your central hub for managing events on Loclie, available on the Manage portal at manage.loclie.com.au. Create, edit, and track all your events in one place.
Accessing Your Dashboard
How to Access
- Go to the Manage portal at manage.loclie.com.au
- Sign in to your Loclie account
- Select "Events" from the sidebar
- Or go directly to manage.loclie.com.au/event-dashboard
Dashboard Overview
What You'll See
Your Events:
- List of all your events, ordered by date (most recent first)
- Status and moderation status of each event
- Quick action buttons for each event
Event Stats:
- Four stat cards at the top of the dashboard
Dashboard Statistics
Overview Stats
Your dashboard shows four stat cards:
- Total Events - Number of events you've created (with published count)
- Total Views - Combined views across all events (currently a placeholder, coming soon)
- Attendees - Number of people who have indicated interest across all your events (shown as an expandable list per event)
- Engagement - Average number of attendees per event
Event List
Viewing Your Events
All your events are displayed in a single list, ordered by date (most recent first). Each event shows:
- Event name
- Status badge - One of the following:
- Awaiting Approval - Submitted but pending admin review
- Published - Approved and visible to the public
- Draft - Not yet published (only you can see)
- Cancelled - Marked as cancelled
- Rejected - Did not meet guidelines
- Date - The event's start date
- Description - A brief preview of the event description
- Attendees - An expandable list of people who have shown interest (click to view individual attendees)
- View count - Number of views (hardcoded to 0 as a placeholder, coming soon)
Expired Events
When an event's date has passed, an expired event banner appears on the event card. From there you can:
Schedule Next Occurrence:
- Set a new date
- Keep all event details
- Automatically marked as recurring
- End date is calculated from original event duration
Delete Event:
- Remove permanently
- Cannot be undone
Quick Actions
For each event, action buttons allow you to:
- Publish (draft events only) - Submit the event for public visibility (requires admin approval)
- QR Code - Generate and manage promotional QR codes
- Announcements - Send announcements to subscribers (bell icon)
- Edit - Update event information (pencil icon)
- Delete - Remove the event (trash icon)
Editing Events
Click Edit on Any Event
Opens the event edit page where you can update:
- Event title and description
- Date and time (including duration and time toggles)
- Location and venue
- Category and tags
- Age group (All Ages, For Kids, Adults Only 18+)
- Event photo (with image cropping and positioning)
- Status (Draft, Published (Active), Cancelled)
- Area-Wide setting
- Announcement Box (a short message shown on the public event page)
How to Edit
- Find the event in your dashboard
- Click the Edit icon (pencil)
- Make your changes
- Click "Save Changes"
The edit page also has auto-save functionality that saves your changes every 60 seconds.

DO:
Keep events updated
- Accurate date/time
- Current location
- Any changes communicated via updates
Use all features
- Send updates to subscribers
- Generate QR codes for promotion
- Use the Announcement Box for important notices
Plan ahead
- Post events early
- Build anticipation
- Allow promotion time
DON'T:
Forget about past events
- Clean up old events
- Reschedule recurring ones
- Keep dashboard organised
Leave changes uncommunicated
- Send updates for changes
- Notify subscribers
- Keep people informed
Frequently Asked Questions
How many events can I create?
There's no limit - create as many events as you need.
Can I duplicate an event?
You can reschedule expired events to reuse all event content with a new date, or create new events with similar details.
How do I cancel an event?
Edit the event and change the status to "Cancelled", or delete it entirely.
Can multiple people manage an event?
Events are linked to your account. Contact support for team management needs.
Do events need to be approved?
Yes. When you publish an event, it goes through admin review before appearing publicly. Draft events are only visible to you.
