How Claiming Works

There are two ways to claim a business on Loclie:

  1. Add Your Business flow (this page) — Search the directory by name and address, then claim a match. Best when you're discovering Loclie for the first time and want to find your listing.
  2. Claim by QR Card — If Loclie has mailed your business a printed card with a QR code, scanning it takes you directly to a short list of candidate listings at your address. The card token verifies you have access to that address, so the claim is processed instantly without manual review. See Claim by QR Card for the full flow.

Both methods give you the same level of control over your listing. The QR-card flow is just faster for recipients of a mailed card.

This page covers the Add Your Business flow. When you enter your business details, Loclie automatically searches for existing listings that match. If a match is found, you can claim it instead of creating a duplicate.
